Laster Orthodontics made my teeth straight and beautiful again! I wore the liners to close a gap that had previously been filled with composite. It’s a little too early in the process to give a complete review of Laster orthodontics but so far 5 Stars!I am a woman in my 60s who discovered that my lower teeth were getting crowded and my canines were pushing out like a vampire. Apparently your jaw shrinks as you get older (who knew?) I was able to quickly get an appointment with the Laster orthodontics in Raleigh as it is very convenient to me. I was very impressed by the staff, The positive energy and the technology. I was also impressed with Dr. Laster, who said that aligners would correct help my problem. He was very nice and personable, and he developed their own brand of aligners (Very similar to Invisalign) right here in the Triangle.I’m only in my second week of wearing aligners. And I have to say it’s no fun. It’s like wearing a too tight bra and Spanx except it’s on my teeth. It’s such a relief when I can take them out, but it doesn’t last long because I have to wear them 22 hours a day.I’m told it gets easier and as it turns out, I have quite a few friends around my age Who have or recently had aligners. Dr. Laster’s prices were competitive with what my friends paid (over $5k but with a convenient no interest payment plan). .I have 14 sets of aligners To change out every two weeks. So guess Dr. Laster is estimating maybe seven months (everyone is different) It feels like a long time right now, but I’m excited to get my smile back.I will come back and update this review when I’m done. Oh yes, a nice side benefit is that I’ve lost a few pounds. We will see if that lasts.

I've used Laster Orthodontics at the Zebulon and Rolesville locations. I prefer the Zebulon one cause it's closer to me. I chose Laster because my dentist recommended it to me. I prefer Laster over Aspen Dental because Laster doesn't make you sign up for a credit card. Laster signs you up for making payments each month. The people are nice there. You don't have to wait too long to be seen like with Aspen Dental. I straightened my teeth years ago but had to stop treatment because my priorities changed. I put college before my teeth. It's 2024 and I'm ready to straighten again. They don't judge you. And now they offer teeth whitening which is something I'm really looking forward to because Crest and Colgate toothpaste can only do so much. Can't wait to have the smile I've always wanted since middle school and my parents couldn't afford it but now I can. 5 out of 5 stars.

Laster Orthodontics is great. I’ve been to the Rolesville and Zebulon locations. They make it affordable with payment options without having to sign up for a credit card like Aspen Dental. I highly recommend Laster over Aspen. 5 out of 5 stars. Everybody’s nice. If you want a straight smile- this is the company you wanna go with. I’ve spent a lot of money here and haven’t regretted a penny. I chose aligners over braces. That’s just my preference. A great smile boosts confidence. I do smile a little more, showing my teeth now. I used to not show any teeth when I smiled. Choose Laster Orthodontics.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Laster since 2009 with braces off/ on and Dr.L and his staff referring me to UNC Dental School ( Dr. Tim Turvey, another stellar man of integrity, kindness and a gifted professional).Dr. Lprepped me for a major jaw operation in 2012 and has been a patient, moral and kind man of integrity and gifts that go well beyond his skills as an orthodontist. He is an extraordinary human being, committed to doing the right thing in a world where mediocrity, apathy, and doing the minimum has become the norm in many professions. His practice tells a different story and I’m grateful for him hanging in there with me through these years with everything that I’ve experienced. His staff is also lovely, fun and kind. It’s obvious why he received Orthodontist of The Year. He’s definitely a testament to the philosophy that if you do the right and honorable thing from the start, the rest just takes care of itself .

I gave Laster Orthodontist a five because, I was previously under orthodontist treatment at another Dentist office for about 12 years wearing braces and the same one tooth that was stubborn and wouldn’t turn Dr. Laster successfully turned that tooth. Also, I see other adjustments that are being remarkably looking good. I cannot wait to my end results.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. My 3rd grader has crowding and loss of space for her adult teeth to come in and our dentist recommended seeing an orthodontist. The treatment plan was appropriate for what we needed and Dr Laster did not push anything more than she required at this time. I am thankful how comfortable they made my daughter (and myself) through the process!

We have visited all their locations, but since we live in Zebulon, that is our favorite. Dr. Laster and his staff are wonderful with the patients and the parents. Their friendliness and gentleness soothe any nerves kids may have about this process. All 3 of our sons had great success with Dr. Laster and it is such a blessing to know their overbites are gone and the teeth are straight for life. With the "after braces" care they provide, the Laster team makes sure their patients stay on track for years to come with their retainers, education and check ups. With flexible times, they work with you to get those appointments done on time. We will miss them!
